"Speak to the children of Yisra'el, saying 'On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Booths for seven days to YHWH"
(Leviticus - Wayyiqra 23:34 The Scriptures).
"Perform the Festival of Booths for seven days after the ingathering from your threshing floor and from your winepress
(Deuteronomy - Debarim 16:13 The Scriptures).
Sukkot, usually translated as "Tabernacles," or the festival of "Booths," occurs for seven days, from Tishrei 15 to 21. There is therefore a quick transition from the high holidays, with their somber mood of repentance and judgment, to a holiday of rejoicing and celebration, for which the people are commanded to build a hut [sukkah; plural, sukkot) and make it their home. The Torah identifies the sukkah (booth) with the temporary dwellings in which the Israelites lived in the wilderness after they left Egypt on their way to the Promised Land (Leviticus - Wayyigra 23:42).
Begins sunset 19 September 2018, ends sunset 20 September 2018
(This is following the new moon sighting of 10th September - last Monday evening)
Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) is a day of contradictions and contrasts: joy and sorrow. Acceptance of the righteous and rejection/judgment for the wicked rebels - the tares. This day is the time when the tares and the wheat are separated. The tares are destroyed and the wheat retained for harvest. This day, perhaps the most solemn day of the year, culminates a 10-day period of self introspection and repentance (teshuvah) on the part of the Believer as he seeks to draw closer spiritually to the Creator of the Universe—YHVH Elohim. This follows the great awakening brought about through the warning blasts of Yom Teruah. A warning message which results in the 'wheat' believers producing fruit = the head of the wheat. The tares on the other hand reject the warning sounds and remain naked.
This feast is does not concern the non-believing 'ungodly' masses. They will be destroyed following Yom Kippur by the bowls of wrath. The feast of Yom Kippur is focused on the judgement and separation of the Almighty's own people - the believers, the 'house of YHWH'.
About a year ago whilst researching a New Testament topic I was motivated to consult the Greek translation of the Old Testament to do some ‘fact checking’. This research though led me into some investigation of the Greek translation commonly known as the ‘Septuagint’. I was under the impression that the Septuagint (Old Testament Greek translation) was the original, or at least a copy of the original translation.
To my surprise I discovered that the original undertaken by 70 or 72 elected Jewish scholars in the mid-3rd century BCE was no longer available and is basically lost apart from some fragments. The word Septuagint is from the Latin word ‘septuāgintā’ and literally means ‘seventy’.
This original Greek translation - the ‘Septuagint’, was only a translation of the first five books (the Torah) of the Old Testament as well and not the whole Old Testament.
My conclusion and understanding from my research on this issue is that there are many Greek Old Testament Translations available today which incorrectly reflect the title ‘Septuagint’ which are in fact not. The word ‘Septuagint’ has been misleadingly used as a generic term to describe any Greek translation of the Old Testament
This is misleading many researchers and is resulting in many erroneous teachings. Many scholars are consulting these works as though they are accurate translations of the original Hebrew. These translations reflect many errors and as such should not be accepted as valid or suitable reference material.
These translations are not the work and effort of dedicated, meticulous Jewish scribes as believed.
One should consult the original Hebrew text for factual and accurate referencing and should, in my opinion, ignore these inaccurate translations. They are a not a source of Truth.
The Jewish Rabbis consider these works as detrimental to the message of the original Hebrew Tanach and I support their view in this regard. Yet again we are being deceived into accepting erroneous works as valid and true.
The original Hebrew is the only reference work that holds True value for any scholar in search of Biblical Truth. The Greek translations of the Old Testament available today and in fact the Greek New Testament documents as well have only served to mislead and confuse Christians and create the mess that exists today.
The following video will provide some insight into the view from a rabbinical perspective.

I watched a really great production on the creation story. I highly recommend watching, especially for those who hold to the theory of evolution or are uncertain of how to correct those who do.
Synopsis and cast. Del Tackett, the creator of Focus on the Family's "The Truth Project", narrates the film. The goal of Is Genesis History?is to make "a positive case that the Bible is historically reliable" through looking at the differing views of and questions concerning the origin of Earth, the universe, and man.

Hell - what does the Bible really reveal about this atrocious Christain teaching?
This section will highlight how mainstream Christianity is just a re-creation of the 'golden calf' that was formedby the high priest Aaron in the wilderness during the long absence of Moses.
Please take time on this subject matter, some of which can take years to accept and absorb as Truth. The most difficult part of learning something new is to un-learn what we already believe to be Truth.
Who is Jesus - Anthony Buzzard
It is a well-documented fact that many of the church's "major doctrines" were not instituted until well after New Testament apostolic times. Christians in search of a vigorous biblical Christianity will find it refreshing to distinguish between what comes from Scripture and what many have unconsciously 'canonized' from Church tradition and Councils.
Below are a number of teachings correcting the erroneous traditional doctrine of mainstream christianity (for nearly 1700 years) regarding the 'supposed' divinty of Jesus i.e. that Jesus is God. If this is your first exposure to this truth then this series of teachings may come as a bit of a shock.
Jesus(Y'Shua) is the son (the firstborn) of the Father - our Father, and not the Almighty Father manifested in the flesh.
Let us be as the Bereans described in Acts 17:11 and test all things against the Word of YHWH.
For some historical background on this erroneous doctrine, and the origin of such, one needs to understand the 4th century Arian/Athanasius controversy. Here is a short introductory video by Sean Finnegan. Oh, and of course the early church branded Arian a heretic and the pagan Athanasius's view was entrenched in Christianity. But this needs to be reviewed, understood and challenged:
I have introduced a new folder under the 'articles/teachings' tab for the serious believer - those who understand that our mission in life is to become 'overcomers' i.e. narrow is the way and few there are that find it... all are called few are chosen...
Below are some of the articles currently listed (please see the file under Articles/Teachings for others):
24 August 2016 The final beast system of Revelation
Here is a very informative article written by Brig. Gen. Gordon "Jack" Mohr outling the evil agenda of a group of 'elitist' men who's ultimate goal is world rule and domination. You will notice how long ago this was written and will begin to understand how long this evil agenda of man has been active.
The Greater Light - an updated Revision 2 of Feb 2016 with some additional insight (pg 16/17 &20/21) has been attached to the link below: 1
All those who are returning to the ways of old - the Torah, should first understand and embrace the message of Yahushua on Righteousness before falling into the trap of religious legalism enforced by the Pharisees of His day. I pray that this article opens your eyes to this warning from Y'Shua - THE GREATER LIGHT.
The Mark of The Beast
This is a very controversial topic but it is critical to understand what the Mark of the Beast really is. Please consider the articles below to assist you with your study on the topic.
I believe that this teaching by Peter Chopelas provides a good understanding of the meaning of Heaven and Hell which is so misunderstood in the world today and preached in error in most church establishments. As usual, I do not endorse any further teachings by this person, who I do not know personally, nor do I necessarily agree 100% with every word in the document. I certainly do not agree with his statement ' Jesus (Yehoshua) is the incarnate G-d of the Old Testament'. I believe that as the Scripture states: Yahushua is the only begotten Son of YHWH.
Here is an execellent 15 part teaching on the Bride of Yahushua - this is the Intro and Part1:
I have just added three more books to the 'Recommended Books' section. These three books are a must read for anyone who seeks the desire of the Father and longs for the 'narrow road' - that few find.
Although I do not agree with every single element of Scriptural interpretation in the books, and the beliefs of Joseph Herrin regarding the Torah, I fully endorse the message contained within the books. CAUTION: Joseph has a further book entitled 'Laying Down the Law'. I totally disagree with this publication and his view that the Torah observation is somewhat superceded by the new testament writings.
Here is an enlightening video on the Way of the Father YHWH
Here is a really good article providing insight into the 'Wilderness Experience' (after coming out of 'church'). It discusses the error one makes when YHWH opens our eyes to certain Truths of His Word and how we, through excitement, can not wait to enlighten our church family of this revelation - often with dissastrous results. A great article.
The Harlot Church - Charles E Newbold is an excellent book for those interested in Mystery Babylon.
Although the book focuses mainly on the Christian church system, the initial introductory pages expand on the identity of Mystery Babylon. I thoroughly enjoyed this book which, in my opinion, is a most insightful read. My only dissappointment was the chapter on 'Legalism' which could be erroneously understood to imply that Torah observance is no longer part of our growth and maturity.
I have just finished reading Brad Scott's book 'The Tares Among the Wheat'. This is a very insightful read.
The Scriptures teach us that the end is to be understood out of the beginning. Most prophetic ministries teach the end from the middle. Using the pictures of ancient Hebrew, Brad traces the restrainer back to the midst of the garden, through the lives of Cain, Ishmael and Esau, and concludes with the agricultural parables of Yeshua‘. The restrainer, or he who withholds in 2 Thessalonians 2:6–8, is clearly seen, from the very beginning, holding back the wheat from producing fruit. There is only one way for the man of sin to be stopped and revealed. Restoration! It is time for the prodigal son to come home.
Matthew 13:49 “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just…”
